According to the updated news of Galaxy S5, there may be some trouble in the supply of fingerprint sensor mobiles.Fingerprint sensor is the new feature that has been added to Samsung S5.
According to the report, Samsung is experiencing low yields with its proprietary fingerprint scanner. In other words, the Korean company doesn’t seem to be making enough in time for the Galaxy S5′s launch in April. Combined with other technical issues, these problems reportedly pushed Samsung to enter negotiations with Crucialtec, the largest manufacturer of optical trackpads and a producer of fingerprint scanners, which Samsung may use to help increase its supply of sensors.
Samsung has responded to the speculation it is using a third-party vendor to alleviate fingerprint sensor production issues, saying, "CrucialTec does not supply fingerprint scanner to Samsung Electronics." The statement unfortunately doesn't rule out Samsung may actually be facing yield issues, or using another third-party vendor.
This may not be a good news from the most anticipated smart Phone, but the samsung team is trying make it faster to release the smart phone in to the market.
